Ky-Mani Marley was born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is one of greatest and most rich Reggae Singers. He was a member of Shottas along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was like Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles such as Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts), Who The Cap Fit Remix, and Sensimelia. All of them contributed to the rising popularity of Ky among the new generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani, as well as Praswell and Fugees (as as part of Avenue), a popular cover version of Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue was released in 1997. Marley was the first performer to perform in Midem in Miami the world's largest showcase of musical talent.
